In 2018, I graduated from Abilene Christian University and went on to complete my Master's of Science in Speech Language Pathology at San Antonio’s University of Texas Health Science Center. Since then, I have found a passion for working with children and young adults with speech sound disorders.

Prior to pursuing a career in speech pathology, I served six years in the U.S. Air Force, and now I continue serving part-time in the U.S. Army Reserve. Some of my favorite things besides speech therapy are baking, crafts, and hanging out with my dog and cat, Darla and Maggie.

I have advanced training in the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) method of treatment for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, which is currently the most research-backed method of treatment available. I have worked as part of a multidisciplinary Autism diagnostic team where I gained great experience working with Autistic children and providing parent coaching to help parents better communicate with their children. Additionally, I have experience working with high-tech Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems. I am passionate about collaborating with families to incorporate AAC as an additional tool for their child's communication needs when appropriate. My goal is to empower children with the ability to express themselves effectively, while continuing to support and encourage the development of verbal speech skills.
